Beauty of Pakistan


Pakistan has bushel of picturesque and glamorous places. In 2012, the tourism of Pakistan state in lonely planet as “next big thing”. Mohenjo-Daro:


Mohenjo-Daro also said as “Mound of Dead”. It is ancient Indus valley flourished among 2600 and 1900 BCE later discover by the archaeologists in 1920. It was the first oldest Indus valley in the whole world and was the ancient Indian valley situated in Sindh province of Pakistan. It was expertly planned city over 4500 year ago, built with the grid wide of patterns, straight streets and thick walls around it. Many of the people lived in there robust blockhouses and some houses have attached bathrooms and toilets shows the world first drainage system.


Chowkandi Tomb:


Chowkandi means four corners it is a graveyard built by the jokhio and baluch tribes in 15th to 18th century A.D. It is treasure trove for the archaeologists where the unique and intricately carved take place and nowhere seen but only in Islamic countries. Each tomb give the identity to gender occupant and having a five to six carved, the tomb was with the tiny turban on top represents the male tomb and jewelry carved on the tomb represents the female tomb. Chowkandi tomb is located in 29 km of Karachi near national highway. Takht-i-Bahi:


 Thakt means throne and bahi means water, spring in Urdu and Persian so the word Takht-i-Bahi drive from the spring throne, or spring on the hilltop. The name became popular it is located on atop of 152 meter on hill and contiguous with the stream and situated in 15 km from Mardan. Thakh-i-Bahi is the Buddhist monastic complex (origin of throne) neighboring city of Sahr-i-Behlul. It is first discover in the early 1st century CE having a lofty hills, successive invasion and still most preserved place. Many statues of Buddha were expos from this site and now address in Peshawar and Mardan museum.
